Interpret frame rate alongside CPU, GPU, memory and sensor readings in the same time context. Live monitoring provides clues about constraints; a single utilization reading cannot establish the bottleneck.
Frame rate describes frames per unit time; frame time describes each frame’s duration. At a steady cadence, 60 FPS corresponds to about 16.7 ms and 144 FPS to 6.9 ms. Similar averages can still conceal disruptive slow frames.
Read metrics together
Low GPU utilization may reflect a frame cap, scene workload or another constraint; it does not automatically mean a CPU bottleneck. Aggregate CPU use can conceal localized thread pressure. Consider scene changes and other available evidence.
Sampling and missing data
Sensors may differ in update cadence and support. Do not infer causation directly from isolated readings. Waiting, N/A and dashes indicate unavailable data, not zero load or temperature.

Validation method
Confirm that the target game is detected and distinguish valid readings from waiting states.
Observe FPS together with load and temperature in a fixed scene and note when anomalies occur.
Check the hypothesis with session reports or repeated tests before changing system settings.
